Navy & black look (self-made pants) – Coordenado Azul-marinho e preto (calças feitas por mim)

It looks like Mr. Weather didn’t acknowledge the new season properly, so we have no choice but to go back to wintery outfits…

Not everybody likes seeing navy blue and black paired together but I really love wearing these two colors and how this outfit turned out. I’m wearing a black quilted trench coat that I’ve own for a few years, a blue blazer over a basic black top and my new navy&black pants.

I finished making these pants yesterday and couldn’t wait to wearing them (click here for a few more details about these pants). Too bad it was raining today; it wasn’t possible to take pictures outside in the morning daylight so I took these during my lunch break under the shelter of a parking lot instead. In spite of the poor lighting conditions I’m hoping you can see the pants, they’ve become my favorite pair now and I can’t wait to build up a few more looks with them.

Have a wonderful week ahead, and thank you all for visiting!

  2. This pants is super ! Black and blue sometimes seems too serious together, but you changed my opinion!! You are so creative, and the cutting of the pants give you a super shape! It is so hard to find a good pants, because of it I don't like pants too much on me. Have a creative week!!! Eszter

  4. Hello my gorgeous Tany! Please say huge thank you to your dear husband for taking the pictures! :)

I can see your beautiful clothes that you are wearing and your tailored trousers are absolutely stunning! they fit your beautiful figure perfectly. I noticed that you have infused the black vertical panels on the sides of the trousers, this is a real WOW factor, especially in view of the black top in place makes, so it all works so well together! Love it!
And I also liked your blazer, especially that it is short in length thus enabling the trousers to visually make your legs even longer, and it looks gorgeous in terms of fitting your figure and design.
Darling, you look like a very stylish and elegant business lady!
Love you so much sweetie! wish you a very nice week ahead, lots of kisses and big warm hugs from a very good friend of yours! <333333333 xoxoxo

    1. Thank you so much Zhanna darling!!! This style is very flattering on everybody because a very tall shoe/boot can be worn hidden, creating the effect of taller legs! The fact that the pants are flared also make the hips look narrower, and adding to all this, the side panels also create an illusion of slimmer figure!
Thank you so much for you support, dear friend!! <33333333

    1. Obrigada Nanda! Beijinhos!

    1. Thanks Cennetta! I'm really happy with how they turned out. I think it's the best fly-front zipper insertion that I've made so far :)
