The weather forecast for this week is a drastic temperature drop and rain; in spite of the sun peeking out in the morning, I chose my clothes accordingly, opting for navy blue cigarette pants, a pinstriped

White pinstripe suit after a day’s work at the office – Fato branco risca-de-giz depois de um dia de trabalho

Yesterday I finally found the pants from my white pinstripe suit (under a coat on a coat hanger, so typical of me) so today I took it out for a spin with a black lace/embroidered top, black cuffed sandals and my fun floral print bag, just to break some of the formality of the suit. These photos were taken by me in the end of the afternoon after returning home from the office (there wasn't enough time to take photos in the morning, I was already late); the suit is wrinkled from sitting at my desk all day long, please excuse that detail. This suit is incredibly well finished for a RTW garment; there’s piping and hand stitching on the jacket’s lining, an interior coin pocket and I could also feel the hair canvas chest shield on the inside. All the pockets are fully functional, there are no mock-ups. This came as a surprise because I got this suit from an online Outlet store during last sales season, it was very cheap (25 euros!!).

Ontem finalmente consegui encontrar as calças do meu fato risca-de-giz branco (numa cruzeta com um casaco por cima, típico), por isso vesti-o hoje com um top preto de renda bordada, sandálias pretas, e para quebrar um pouco a seriedade do fato usei a minha bolsa estampada com flores. As fotos foram tiradas ao fim da tarde depois de regressar do trabalho, por isso o fato já estava um pouco engelhado de ter passado o dia sentada numa secretária, perdoem-me este detalhe. Este fato é extraordinariamente bem acabado para um fato de pronto-a-vestir barato: o forro tem um vivo na orla que também é pespontada à mão, um bolso para moedas no interior, e através do forro consegui sentir a entretela de crina do reforço de peito que dá estrutura ao blazer. Todos os bolsos são funcionais (não há bolsos a fingir). Para mim foi uma grande surpresa pois o fato custou-me apenas 25 euros num website Outlet durante a época de saldos passada!
