Hello dear readers and friends! Today I’m wearing a blazer that I got for my birthday and a dress that I found on sale at a huge discount. This is a chic spring outfit, with a strong color message and a bold pint, there’s nothing discrete about it. The zebra print of the dress also has strides of soft pink into it but I’m not sure the photos are showing it. This wasn't the outfit I intended to wear in the first place; I was going to wear a white pinstriped pant suit instead, but in the morning I couldn't find the pants anywhere (gasp! Really need to reorganize my closets!) ; the dress was there “staring” at me and I was in a hurry so I went for this dress plus pink blazer look which I had in mind since I purchased the dress a couple of months ago. 

I also want to say that I managed to save the bag from yesterday; after scrubbing with nail polish remover the stain was faded but still there in the white portion of the bag, so I used some white shoe paint (the one used to repair white sneakers) and I was able to cover the stain completely. I’m really relieved because I grow attached to my things so much I can hardly get apart from them even when they are worn out; that’s why I’m such a clothes-bags-shoes-accessories “hoarder” (or “collector” as I like to think of myself); every piece has a sentimental value, I remember when I wore it, I treasure it for life.

Olá queridos leitores e amigos! Hoje estou a usar um blazer rosa “pastilha-elástica” que comprei para os meus anos e um vestido que encontrei em promoção há uns tempos com um desconto bastante grande (salvo-erro ficou por 15 Euros). O vestido tem também umas pinceladas de rosa-pálido, mas não sei se conseguem notar nas fotos. Esta não é a roupa que tencionava usar hoje; tinha planeado levar um fato-calça branco risca-de-giz, mas não consegui encontrar as calças do fato (tenho mesmo que reorganizar os meus armários)… O vestido estava ali à minha frente e como não tinha muito tempo, decidi usá-lo com o blazer rosa, algo que já tinha imaginado quando comprei o vestido. 

Também queria dizer-vos que consegui salvar a bolsa de ontem: depois da mancha ficar bastante esbatida na parte branca da bolsa, usei tinta para sapatos branca (do tipo que se usa para recuperar ténis brancos) e a mancha deixou de se notar por completo! Fiquei bastante aliviada porque dou bastante valor às minhas coisas, a ponto de mesmo quando estão bastante usadas não me conseguir separar delas. É por isso que acumulo tanta coisa (roupa, sapatos, carteiras, acessórios,…), as peças têm valor sentimental: lembro-me quando as adquiri ou fiz, as ocasiões importantes em que as usei, são os meus tesouros…

Hello dear reader and friends! First of all I want to congratulate dear friend Zhanna, author of the blog Stylehenge.com for winning the Very Inspiring Blogging Award (well deserved Zhanna, I find your blog a great source of inspiration!) and also thank her for nomination my blog for this lovely award! Thank you so much, dear friend! 

Now moving on to today’s outfit, I’m wearing a bright yellow blazer (yellow is one of the strongest color trends for spring) with an old Zebra print top and these white wide pants that I've made shortly before getting pregnant; I never got to review them on my sewing blog, for those of you interested, the pattern used was BurdaStyle 2011/10, model 124A (the link is for the Russian BurdaStyle website, which contains reference to all the models). The necklace is old, but I find it quite on trend right now. My camera’s batteries went dead before finishing the photo shoot so there won’t be detail pictures of the shoes this time (they are pointy suede sling backs, a recent purchase). I’ll try to take some pictures the next time I wear them.

Olá queridos leitores e amigos, antes de prosseguir com o conjunto do dia, queria congratular a querida amiga Zhanna, autora do blogue Stylehenge.com, por ter recebido o prémio “Very Inspiring Blogging Award” (bem merecido, o blogue da Zhanna é verdadeiramente inspirador) e também agradecer-lhe por ter nomeado o Tany et La Mode para o mesmo prémio! Muitíssimo obrigada, minha querida! 

Passando então para o conjunto de hoje, estou a usar uma jaqueta amarelo-vivo (caso não saibam, o amarelo é uma das cores tendência mais fortes para esta Primavera), com um top estampado zebra (antigo) e umas calças largas brancas feitas por mim pouco antes de engravidar do meu filho; não cheguei a escrever o artigo no meu blogue de costura, mas para quem estiver interessado, o molde é da revista BurdaStyle Outubro 2011, modelo 124A (link para o website russo da BurdaStyle, que contém fotos de todos os modelos). O colar também é antigo, mas este género de colares estão bastante na moda agora. A bateria da minha máquina “morreu” antes de acabar a sessão fotográfica, por isso hoje não terão fotos dos sapatos (são sapatos altos e bicudos de camurça preta, com o calcanhar aberto),… Tentarei fotografá-los com mais detalhe na próxima vez que os calçar!
