Happy Monday to all! Here the weather remains torrid hot; it reminds me of the summer vacations I used to take in Algarve, and it demands breezy summer clothes, especially if you plan on spending some time outside, which is my case today. I’m wearing new printed skorts (I was in love with this white/blue/black print the minute I saw it), with a black top which has zippers applied vertically, folding the fabric underneath the zippers and adjusting the top to the body; when un-zippered below the waist they create a more accentuated peplum effect on the top (I’ll make sure to show you this the next time I wear this top because it’s a really nice detail IMO). The sandals are the same that I wore last Saturday and they are from last summer; they are as comfortable as they get, and I practically lived in them last summer because I was still overweight from pregnancy and couldn't stand very high heels.

Boa segunda-feira a todos! Hoje está um calor tórrido, a lembrar as férias que costumava tirar no Algarve e este tipo de tempo exige roupa muito arejada e fresca, principalmente se tivermos de passar algum tempo cá fora (é o meu caso hoje, tive de sair à hora de almoço). Estou a usar uma saia-calção estampada (apaixonei-me pelo padrão em tons de branco, azul e preto mal vi a esta peça na loja) com um top ajustado por fechos verticais (o tecido por baixo forma uma prega). Quando desapertados abaixo da cintura, os fechos criam um efeito mais evasé no top, um detalhe bastante interessante na minha opinião e que acentua a cintura (vou ver se na próxima vez uso o top dessa maneira para verem). As sandálias são as mesmas que usei no sábado, tenho-as desde o último verão e, com um salto médio e largo, são do mais confortável que há. No ano passado praticamente vivi nelas, uma vez que ainda estava com um pouco de excesso de peso da gravidez e não conseguia andar com saltos mais altos e finos.
