EN: In these photos I am wearing a self-made pant suit with coordinating fabrics. The kimono-sleeve jacket is made of prince-of-wales plaid and the high-waist wide-leg pants are made of matching houndstooth print fabric, both sharing the same weight and fiber content, yet with different prints. The jacket and pants patterns are from one of my vintage editions of Burda International magazine: 1/95, models 913 and 915 respectively. Burda International used to be a quarterly special edition magazine featuring international fashion editorials and containing a booklet with sewing patterns, some of them designer originals. I treasure my collection of Burda International magazines and I have made several of their models back in the nineties, but I never got to make this suit until now. I also made a short A-line skirt from the houndstooth fabric left, shown in the last photos (the pattern is from BurdaStyle magazine 2010/03mod105). PT: Estou a vestir um fato-calça de tecidos combinados feito por mim. A jaqueta de manga kimono foi confecionada com príncipe de gales e as calças largas de cintura subida foram confecionadas com tecido pied-de-poule a condizer, sendo que ambos os tecidos têm o mesmo peso e composição, somente padrões diferentes. Os moldes da jaqueta e das calças são de uma das minhas revistas vintage Burda Internacional: 1/95, modelos 913 e 915 respetivamente. A Burda Internacional costumava ser uma edição especial trimestral contendo vários editoriais e artigos sobre alta-moda que trazia um suplemento com moldes de costura, alguns deles modelos originais de designers famosos. Tenho grande apreço pela minha coleção de Burdas Internacionais e cheguei a fazer muitos dos seus moldes nos anos noventa, no entanto nunca cheguei a fazer este fato na altura, só agora recentemente. Com o tecido pied-de-poule que sobrou ainda fiz uma mini-saia linha-A, que podem apreciar na última foto (o molde é da revista BurdaStyle Março 2010, modelo 105).
