I've made this dress last year (click here for photos of the first time I wore it and click here for the sewing review, if you’re interested) and had it stored away along with other warmer clothes (which I’m still unpacking!). When I saw this fur jacket I knew I had the perfect matching dress for it but decided not to buy the jacket without giving it some thought first (I have plenty of fur jackets already and a serious storage problem in my hands!). When I went back to the store a week later I was lucky to get one (the only one left in fact, and it wasn't on display anymore). Anyway I'm happy that I got the jacket: the fur is super-soft and its color is so beautiful and unique.
I went to a friend's garage sale today and left with two things: another coat (!!) and the thought that I should do something similar, to be able to free some storage space of my own.

Fiz este vestido no ano passado (cliquem aqui para fotos da primeira vez que o usei e aqui para o artigo sobre a costura, se estiverem interessados) e tinha-o guardado junto com mais roupa de inverno (que ainda estou a desempacotar!). Quando vi esta jaqueta de pelo, imaginei-a de imediato com este vestido, mas mesmo assim resisti a comprar a jaqueta e decidi pensar um pouco mais sobre o assunto (afinal de contas, casacos de pelo não faltam lá por casa; o que me faz falta mesmo é ESPAÇO para guardar tanta roupa!). Quando voltei à loja uma semana mais tarde, ainda consegui encontrar uma destas jaquetas, mas era a última e já não estava sequer exposta. Não me arrependi da compra, o pelo é muito macio e a cor dá-lhe uma vivacidade especial.
Hoje fui a uma venda de garagem de uma amiga e de lá vim com duas coisas: um casaco (!!) e a ideia de fazer algo de semelhante um dia destes; talvez assim consiga recuperar algum espaço para guardar a minha roupa.
