Red sailor pants (DIY) - Calças à marinheiro vermelhas (feitas por mim)
These pants were a handful of work (sewing details posted here, just check the english language box to read it in English) but I guess it was well worth it in the end, because I really love them and they are unique! I’m wearing the pants today and I couldn’t pass on the chance of photographing them. My outfit is quite simple; I’m coordinating the bright tomato red of the pants with a simple purple top/purple peep toe booties and bold accessories. Hope you like it!

They are pretty spectacular and considering what you had to do to get them to fit, the fit is amazing and well worth your time. I guess that Patrones is not as consistent as Burda in their sizing. Good to know.
ReplyDeleteThe fit is fabulous. I am amazed at the time you have put in to these but they were so worth it. They look wonderful on you. You also get an A+ in persistence!
ReplyDeleteOla Tany k saudades
ReplyDeleteMaravilha a combinaçao de cores e acessorios,

ReplyDeleteBeijos.
Fabulous!! The insert down the side looks like a design detail. Using the cross grain makes it look slightly different in colour with great results. Well worth the work in adjusting.
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning :)))

ReplyDeletewonderful pants..
You look gorgeous! The pants are amazing in every way, and I love how you styled them - not in traditional sailor style, but uniquely you.
ReplyDeleteGreat look, very bold, clean and perfect for summer. I see that Missy got into a photo, too.
ReplyDeleteThat outfit has class, lots of it.
ReplyDeleteLove your colour blocked outfit. You look stunning, as always. Just a little personal question, if you don't mind. Do you wear a strapless bra or have you built in a bra on the strapless top?
ReplyDeleteI ADORE those pants!! They are so fabulous! And the red and purple is such an attractive and unexpected color combination!

ReplyDeleteLovely outfit.
ReplyDeleteLinda!!!! Parabéns!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe pants look great,, but seeing the side how you did it,, I think I would have looked great if you could have used satin material instead,, just a thought....

Sewbluetiful: That's an excellent idea! I will remember that (perhaps I'll use this pattern again with a different color fabric - white pants with a black satin stripe sounds wonderful)
