Fora do comum - Out of the ordinary

Este blazer tem uma gola descida, como podem observar. Agradou-me o contraste entre o estilo masculino um pouco datado e a cor tão feminina. Além do mais foi baratíssimo (comprado pela NET). Também estou a usar um anel de prata novo na mão direita, não pude resistir à sua forma tão fora do comum que me lembra uma pequena cobra a rastejar sobre um círculo.

This blazer has a dropped notched collar, as you can observe. I like the contrast between the tacky masculine cut and the very feminine color pink. Besides, it was a bargain (online purchase). I’m also wearing a new sterling silver ring on my right hand, I couldn’t resist to its shape which reminds me of a little snake crawling over a circle; it's so out of the ordinary.

Já não usava estas calças há algum tempo. Foram compradas numa das minhas viagens em trabalho, em S. Paulo Brasil há cerca de 5-6 anos. Por vezes é engraçado procurar peças esquecidas há muito tempo no fundo do guarda-fatos e dar-lhes nova vida.

I haven’t been wearing these jeans for a long time. I bought them on a business trip to S. Paulo, Brazil 5-6 years ago. Sometimes it’s fun finding long forgotten clothes on the bottom of my closet and bringing them to life again

Numa de florais - Floral mood

Motivos florais e cores pastel não são muito o meu estilo, mas não consigo evitar ser um pouco influenciada pelas tendências... O facto é que esta fatiota colheu bastantes elogios entre as minhas amigas, e senti-me bem dentro do espírito da primavera. O relógio dourado estilo “retro” foi uma compra recente.

Floral prints and pastel colors aren’t really my cup of tea, but I can’t avoid being influenced by the current trends... The fact remains that I received many compliments from my friends and co-workers and I ended up feeling quite well embracing the spring spirit. The retro style golden watch is a recent purchase.

Verde ou azul? - Green or Blue?

Parece-me uma mistura das duas cores e lembra-me os lagos da Croácia que tive o prazer de visitar há uns tempos… Neste conjunto a cor está presente no verniz das unhas, nos acessórios e também no top de seda e no casaco feito por mim.

In my opinion it’s a mix of the two and reminds me the Croatian lakes that I had the pleasure of visiting some time ago… For this outfit I matched the nail polish with the silk top and the coat, which I made last year. I googled for shades of green and it seems that this color would be called moss green in English; in Portuguese we call it “water green”

Hoje não houve muito tempo para pensar no que vestir... Tentei cortar a severidade do traje negro com um toque de romantismo nos acessórios e nos punhos da blusa.

There wasn't much time to think about what to wear today... I tried to add a little interest to the plain black outfit adding a hint of romanticism: the accessories and the ruffled cuffs should do the trick.
